Talim from Soul Calibur III

I love Talim, she is my all time favorite character from the Sol Cal Series. I loved this design the moment I saw it, it looked so flowy and awesome. Especially while Talim was doing here acrobatic fighting moves. I had to make it!

There are a few things I would like to fix on this costume, for instance the hair is not accurate because my wig was ruined - my natural hair looked much better. And I would like to add wires to the red ribbons so that they do more then just hang there. Perhaps I will fix it up some time.

Construction Details:

Outfit: The outfit was made out of various satins. The dark blue satin is shiny and slightly stretchy. The light blue satin is more matte. All of the gold details were satin stitched on. The Bub and leg ribbons were made out of a red satin and were attached to the pants.

Armor: The bracers and necklace were made out of craft foam and model magic. They were sealed with modgepodge and painted with gold and red acrylic.

Tonfas: These were my favorite part. They were created out of carved insulation foam. The foam was given an internal structure of wood, and a PVC pipe was attached for the handle. Modelmagic was used to add the raised details. The weapon was painted with a silver spray paint and then detailed with acrylics.
