Ame-Comi Harley Quinn from BatmanI adore the Ame-Comi statue designs and have always wanted to cosplay Harley so this just seemed like a great fit. I love the look and had a blast creating it.
Construction Details:Outfit: The suit is constructed out of a heavy matte moleskin spandex. The diamond details and leg holes were appliquéd on. Shoe covers were sewn out of spandex and stuffed with some polyfill. The wrist cuffs and collar piece were made out of PVC and some craft foam.
Hat: The hat was sewn out of the same moleskin fabric as the suit. The ears have a wire and foamy frame to keep the shape. The mask was made out of wonderflex that I covered in black spandex and hand sewed to the hat.
Cupcake and Mask: The mask was build on a plain mask base that I cut and molded into a good shape. Modelmagic and paper clay were used to sculpt the Haggish face, and then painted it in acrylics. The cupcake was made out of carved sytrofoam covered in paperclay for smoothness. The "icing" is spackle that I added a bit of red acrylic paint to. The bomb and flame were made out of model magic. All of the little dangly faces were sculpted out of model magic as well.

I just wanted to tell you I plan on using one of these shots briefly at the DDirect panel at SDCC, this Thursday as part of a slide show.
The oversize Cupccake and even bigger hat "tails" are actually an improvement over the original design!
Thanks for posting this, It' s ccol to see people making real costumes out of these!

I adore all of the Ame-comi figures, but Harley most of all. I am flattered that you enjoy my costume and want to show it off in your Panel.
